Located on the Eastern end of the bustling Avenido de Mayo, the city's first great boulevard, the Casa Rosada houses the offices of the current Argentine president. But if you look at the center of this building, you will notice three balconies located there. Contrary to popular belief, it was on the left balcony (not the center) that Eva Peron made her impassioned speech to the Argentines that was made famous in the play, 'Evita'.
