What We're Drinking Now: Chateau Parenchere Blanc Sec

After walking through the beautiful Chateau Parenchère with our host Julia during the middle of the Summer, nothing tasted more refreshing than their Bordeaux Blanc.

The beauty of this wine was that it wasn't overpowered by acid or fruit and could be enjoyed without food. It went down so smooth on the palate and had flavors of honeydew with a fresh squeeze of lemon. If you must have food, I would recommend having this with smoked salmon and creme fraîche on a slice of toasted baguette or simply with some fresh herbed goat cheese.
