Where wine and gastronomy meet!

The best part about wine and travel blogging is getting invited to new and exciting events. Whether it's a tasting, tour, gastronomic experience or all of the above, they are the most intimate, fun and (gasp!) educational part of our Vino Vagabonding. This Saturday we've been invited to the private opening of a new experience in Penedes-based wine tourism and gastronomy. Thanks to Key Digital Marketing, the joint effort between  The Hotel Kursaal Calafell Platja  and Mas Can Colomé Viticultors (who make some of our favorite still wines and Cavas in the area), promises not just delicious wines, but top-notch gastronomic innovations by hotel-based restaurant Latitude 41.  

In addition to all the wine and food, there are also two social media presentations taking place for us lucky attendees, and then, of course, a chance to mix and mingle with fellow bloggers and winos!  Minus these presentations, the 'wine pairing experience in the Penedès' as they're calling it, will be open to the public on Saturday, September 24th.

We can't wait to get a 'taste' of  what Penedès wine tourism and gastronomy have to offer and will make sure to share our thoughts, notes and photos afterwards.
