This is one of our all-time favorite party tricks and one of the quickest ways to make an impression on your guests...just make sure to aim the bottle away from the crowd!

Step 1: remove the foil 

Step 2: remove the wire cage, BUT KEEP YOUR THUMB ON THE CORK SO IT DOESN'T BLOW OFF EARLY!

Step 3: Hold the bottle in your non-dominant hand, cork facing away from you or anyone else.

Step 4: Turn the knife around so you'll be striking the bottle top with the BLUNT end. If you do it with the sharp end, you'll chip the knife blade.

Step 5: In ONE swift, strong motion run the back of the knife up the bottle neck all the 'through' the bottle top. *Your knife will catch the lip of the bottle top and 'pop' the bottle open.*

*Tip: to pop the top off clean and easy, make sure to be forceful with your strike, fully extend your arm and follow completely through with the motion.

Tip two: keep an eye on where the top goes...it makes an awesome magnet or souvenir!
