  Early on this season, we noticed evidence of early mold on the leaves and they needed to be treated right away. Without enough viable leaves on the vine, there will not be enough of the sun's energy harvested to produce sufficient fruit. The Bordelais mixture we sprayed on the leaves is a blue powder that we added to water and created a perfect barrier against any further mold growth.
