Hey there!

We're Jeff & Brittany, two wine-loving travelers (or travel-loving wine-Os depending on the day!) and here you'll find the ins and outs of our journey. We share our best travel tips and must see locations, under the radar wines, hidden restaurants, and hints to taste wine like a pro across the globe. So, fellow Vino Vagabond, grab a glass (or two) and lets hit the road! Cheers!

Sure, it's relatively easy to select a bottle of wine or to choose what you want for dinner, but the hard part comes when you want them to work together in unison. Pairing wine with food is essential for bringing out the subtle flavors and characteristics in each one and for maximum enjoyment of the complete meal. When pairing the two together, it is helpful to consider the wine as a course in itself and not a separate entity. With that said, you want to find a wine that compliments all components of the food and doesn't overpower them.

With so many different grape varietals available, the task of pairing can become quite daunting. To take some of the guesswork out of selecting food and wine, we recommend visiting a website we discovered called Wine To Match.

The beauty of this site is that you can either pair wine to food or, conversely, food to wine. With the help of Master Sommelier, Jesse Becker, Wine to Match is a great resource for food and wine lovers.

An iPhone app is even available as well if you need a pairing on the go!
